§ 96.18. INSPECTION OF MOORED BOATS.

  • The zoning Administrator and Chief of Police shall inspect all boats and watercraft now moored, maintained, or occupied, or in the future sought to be moored, maintained, or occupied within the corporate limits of the city. In all cases where the officers are satisfied that the mooring, maintenance, or occupancy of any boat or watercraft will constitute a danger or menace to the health, morals, security, or general welfare of the citizens, or to the occupants of the boat, they shall refuse to give permission for the mooring, maintenance, or occupancy within the city and shall direct the owner, occupant, or person in charge of the boat or watercraft to remove it beyond the corporate limits of the city.
